We are now seeking a new Director of the Institute to develop an exciting, impactful, scientific multi-disciplinary vision, working closely with key stakeholders both within King’s and beyond. Launched in 2022, the King's Institute for Artificial Intelligence has created a coherent and visible presence for AI at King's, to support networking and collaboration across the King's AI community, provide a point of coordination within King's and for external partnerships and collaborations, and spearhead an exciting collaborative research agenda in AI.

We are seeking a distinguished academic in the field of Artificial Intelligence who will bring an outstanding research track record, as well as the ability to drive forward university ambitions for the Institute. Housed in the Department of Informatics in the iconic Bush House, you will be working alongside distinguished and talented academics conducting research in a range of computer science areas, whilst as Director of a University-wide institute you will work closely with the Vice-President (Research & Innovation) to develop and execute a cross-university vision for AI that will bridge disciplinary boundaries.
