The Department of Fashion & Textiles is the school’s largest department, offering design, leadership & strategy, and marketing education, at undergraduate, taught-postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The department supports one of the largest international student communities in Europe studying fashion leadership, marketing, management, and strategy programmes, whilst sustaining a long-held reputation for the nurturing of high-level design practice and craft-based skills.

The role

You will be required to ensure the programme maintains its relevance within the fashion space and is able to attract a diverse cohort of students, demonstrating a clear understanding of the discipline from both an academic and industry perspective. The programme is in the final stages of an academic renewal process and will require the successful candidate to see the programme through this process..

About You

You will have a proven track record of developing and delivering an excellent standard of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as being able to develop a variety of learning and teaching approaches to deliver an excellent level of education.
