We are looking for an experienced quality assurance professional to join our team. As one of three team leaders you will review the work of the teams to build a service that is responsive to the needs of academic and administrative colleagues, and other professional services. You will lead activity and planning that enacts change and enables institutional priorities.
Our Curriculum and Quality Assurance teams work closely with academic departments, professional services and key stakeholders to develop and maintain effective management and administration of a range of key quality assurance and enhancement activities. These include; programme approval and review, external examiner appointment and reporting, governance committee support, curriculum data maintenance, annual monitoring, programme accreditation.
Required skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience of managing the administration of quality assurance frameworks
- Proven experience of interpreting and applying regulations, policies and procedures
- An in-depth understanding of quality assurance and enhancement in Higher Education
- Ability to manage people and plan workloads
You will use your skills and experience to support the delivery of an exceptional student experience and a strong customer service culture, providing leadership and management of the Curriculum and Quality Assurance teams ensuring that the teams are enabled and empowered to pro-actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
There will be significant opportunity to build on your expert knowledge of higher education and develop strong networks across the University.
