Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow under the School of Public Health at LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 527452), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years on a temporary term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in public health, social sciences, statistics, or other health-related disciplines. They should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those with a track record of planning and implementing public health studies or complex randomized controlled trials, and producing high-quality publications. Strong statistical background and knowledge of mobile phone-based intervention would be distinct advantages.
The appointee will work under the research team led by Professor Sophia S.C. Chan to participate in research projects on tobacco control, smoking cessation and primary health care. He/She is expected to manage projects and write academic publications, research proposals, and reports. Research training opportunities will be provided.
