The ICARUS Climate Research Centre Team are seeking a senior postdoctoral researcher to work on the creation and analysis of gridded observational climate datasets for the British and Irish isles. The role will involve working with researchers from institutions across the UK and Ireland as part of the co-centre for climate + biodiversity + water. The post would suit a candidate with an interest in historical climatology and statistical and / or computational experience. The postholder will be expected to participate in broader activities of the co-centre and to interact with both Met Eireann and the UK Met Office.

Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher (2024) Salary Scale: €53,194 – €55,188 p.a. (3 points)

Post Doctoral Researcher (2024): €44,347 - €50,805  p.a. (6 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
