The Role and the Department
The Department of Physics at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented Project Manager to work on new and exciting initiative that seeks to establish a new Space Research Centre. This is an inter-disciplinary centre bringing together experts in space technology, business and governance. The centre's aims include world-leading inter-disciplinary research, stakeholder engagement and training.
The Project Manager will be the operational programme lead for our new space centre and will play a key role in leading the development and delivery of research programmes with oversight of processes and funder requirements; inception, design, market research, pilot to delivery, and customer feedback and improvement of training programmes; and coordinating and documenting stakeholder engagement across government, communities and industry.
