Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 527411), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a related discipline. They should have strong background and research experience in at least one of the following areas: (1) Chemical biology; (2) Anticancer drug research; (3) Cancer biology; (4) Mass spectrometry; (5) Proteomics; (6) Medicinal Chemistry. They should be self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team.

The appointee will work on interdisciplinary projects related to the development of novel therapeutic agents targeting cancer-related proteins for therapy. These are collaborative projects, involving labs with expertise in chemistry, cancer biology, cell biology and immunology. The appointee will have a good opportunity to learn and perform state-of-the-art research for drug target identification and drug development.
