The ANU is looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join the team taking a leading role in providing and supporting internal audit and risk management services.

The Senior Auditor will work and be part of a small team of specialist staff to provide high quality reviews in the areas of internal audit, management reviews, business process improvement and risk management. They will provide high level advice and support across the University in relation to audit planning and scoping of reviews, identifying control weaknesses and recommending improvements.

The Senior Auditor will manage and coordinate the University internal audit partner program of work and work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The position reports to the Manager, Audit & Risk and works within a small team, operating with a high degree of autonomy.

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have relevant qualifications and significant experience as an audit and assurance specialist or a business management generalist who has strong skills in governance, audit or assurance and would like to work in a more specialised capacity.

You will have excellent analytical, research, problem solving, organisational and communication skills with the ability to relay complex and detailed information in a simple and concise manner. You will have effective partnership skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including finance and governance colleagues and senior leaders.
