Research Associate (A)-Architecture
(Level A) $98,574 to $105,611 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation
Part time- 0.4 FTE
36-month fixed term contract
The School of Architecture at the University of Adelaide is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a passionate individual with a strong background in architecture, computational design, architectural engineering, or construction. The position is for 3 years part-time, fixed term.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and lead innovative research projects.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including industry partners.
- Manage project resources and timelines effectively.
- Contribute to the preparation of research publications and creative outputs.
- Support the development of grant applications and funded projects.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
To be successful in Level A, you will need:
Educational Qualifications:
- A PhD in architecture, computational design, architectural engineering, construction, or a related discipline is preferred. Exceptional candidates with a Master's degree and extensive research experience will also be considered.
Research and Administrative Experience:
- Proven track record of contributions to recent publications or creative outputs.
- Experience working on grant-funded projects or within research teams.
Creativity and Design Skills:
- Strong computational design skills and innovative design practices.
- Excellent graphical and communication skills.
Resource and Time Management:
- Demonstrated capacity to manage resources and time efficiently.
Team and Autonomy Skills:
- Ability to work autonomously with a strong commitment to team collaboration.
- Confidence and effectiveness in working with colleagues, project leaders, and industry partners.

Eligibility:
- Must have work rights in Australia.
- Must be available to work in Adelaide.
