Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA) funded project in the Department of Physics, School of Advanced Sciences (SAS), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore, 632014, Tamil Nadu

Title of the Project:

STOMACHING-SENSE. A Double-sided Electrolyte-Gated Graphene Field Effect Transistor (DEGGFET) for the detection of methane and hydrogen gases in breath, indicating unwanted bacterial growth in the stomach of patients suffering from unbalanced microbiota

Qualification:

M.Sc. in Physics

Desirable (if any):

Candidates having hands-on experience in sensors and a basic knowledge on electronics/instrumentation will be preferred

Stipend:

Rs. 37,000 per month plus 16 % HRA for the first 2 years, and Rs. 42,000 per month plus 16 % HRA for the 3rd year for candidates with CSIR- NET/GATE. For non CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidates, the stipend will be paid as per the Institute’s norms
