University College Birmingham is expanding and with the recent acquisition of a high-quality conferencing space is looking for Director of Commercial and Campus Services to join us and support in the continued growth of our ambitious future.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services, with a close working line to the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, you will have enjoyed success in commercial roles within a Corporate or Professional Services environment.

You will be lead on maximising commercial income, across the new space, in addition to our existing world-class facilities, including halls of residence, Gym, Catering outlets, restaurant and professional grade kitchens. You will have a proven track record in developing commercial activity and creating prompt financial returns.

In this newly created role you will have the opportunity to develop, implement and maintain an effective commercial strategy, leveraging commercial opportunities available to the University whilst leading a successful team.

You will have sales and marketing experience through a range of different forums, and a passion for developing a commercial mindset and culture, collaborating with, and influencing stakeholders from across the University in order to ensure success.
