The Role and Department

The Senior Product Manager is an exciting new role that provides critical leadership to one or more University IT products or services, partnering with key stakeholder(s) in providing management and operational capability for the products and services offered to staff, students and other customers.

The role is a member of our Computing & Information Services (CIS) team, which comprises some 200 staff working in collaboration with other University departments and stakeholders, to support and enhance the digital experience of our staff and students.

This role is responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle, shaping the services delivered to users for a product or products. Working with the wider University and IT team to develop and manage the delivery of product roadmaps and user journeys. Taking responsibility for co-ordinating the product priorities for delivery by University teams and suppliers, ensuring in collaboration with team managers that we have the right assets, people and skills in place to meet the needs of our users.
