Introduce:

The School of Energy and Power Engineering at Chongqing University traces its roots back to the Department of Mechanical Engineering's Power Division in 1937, making it one of the earliest research and teaching bases for thermal science and engineering in China. The School hosts one of the three main disciplines in the national “Double First-Class” initiative's “Smart Energy Discipline Group,” including the national key discipline “Engineering Thermophysics,” and Chongqing's first-level key disciplines “Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics,” “New Energy and Energy Storage Science and Engineering,” and the Intelligent Zero-Carbon Chongqing “AI+ Discipline Group.” It offers doctoral and post-doctoral programs in “Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics.” The School leads the National Energy Storage Technology Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform and houses several key laboratories and research centers, including the Ministry of Education’s Key Laboratory of Low-Grade Energy Utilization Technologies and Systems, the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center for Energy and Power Electrical Engineering, the National Evaluation Center for Industrial Energy Conservation and Green Development, Chongqing’s Engineering Research Center for Multi-Energy Complementary Distributed Energy Technologies and Systems, Chongqing's Key Laboratory of Thermal Science, and the Chongqing Collaborative Innovation Center for Industrial Process Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction. The School offers three national first-class undergraduate programs: Energy and Power Engineering, Nuclear Engineering and Technology, and New Energy Science and Engineering, along with an undergraduate program in Energy Storage Science and Engineering. It comprises four departments: the Department of Thermal Science, the Department of Thermal Energy and Power Engineering, the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Technology, and the Department of New Energy and Energy Storage.

The faculty includes 13 national-level talents such as Distinguished Professors under the “Changjiang Scholars Program,” recipients of the “National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars,” winners of the “National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars,” and Young Scholars under the “Changjiang Scholars Program.” There are also 30 provincial and ministerial-level talents, including New Century Excellent Talents supported by the Ministry of Education, Chongqing Talent Program Outstanding Scientists, and Bayu Scholars of Chongqing. The School hosts one Innovation Research Group funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, one Key Area Innovation Team funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and one National Huang Danian-style Teacher Team in Universities. The faculty includes members serving on the Ministry of Education's Teaching Steering Committee for Energy and Power Disciplines and the Teaching Steering Committee for Nuclear Engineering. The School employs 104 full-time teachers, including 50 professors (one of whom is a foreign professor) and 36 associate professors. Over 99% of the faculty hold doctoral degrees, and more than 75% have international experience. Faculty members hold leadership positions in 10 national and local alliances, societies, and standard committees, and they serve in key roles in 26 important international organizations and academic journals.

• For the first 3 years, the pre-tax salary of RMB 250,000/year, with additional performance-based rewards. After passing the mid-term assessment, performance-based salary will be implemented according to the professional position standards.
