Applications are invited for the permanent post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Digital Landscape Design within UCD School Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy.

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Digital Landscape Design. The successful candidate will join a team of ten Landscape Architecture Faculty and Design Fellows. They should possess an ability to integrate digital knowledge and skill, digital thinking and digital production into Landscape Architecture's studio-oriented programmes. They should be a productive and collaborative researcher and capable of working with a range of software dealing with the analysis, adaptation, and creation of designed environments at large landscape scales.

Applicants will hold a PhD in landscape architecture, landscape planning, environmental design or a related land use or design discipline, have a commitment to evidence-based research and a high-quality publication record in data-driven design, commensurate with stage of career. They will have a strong technical competency and ability to integrate design and/or geospatial modelling in teaching across environmental design, technical design and design-research-studio modules and in research applications. Applicants will be committed to high-quality teaching at University level, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a demonstrated commitment to and awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar Salary scale: €62,233- €98,548 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
