Applications are invited for a temporary, part-time post of a Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor in Physiotherapy within the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy & Sports Science. x2 PartTime

Applications are invited for two part-time (0.5 fte) Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutors in Physiotherapy post supporting the Director of Clinical Education and Programme Directors and practice education team to deliver quality academic and practice education. This position is aligned with Physiotherapy services in the Beacon Hospital and St. Vincent's Private Hospital. The Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor will support staff in these sites to deliver quality practice education placements. The Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor may also support students virtually, in other regions as required by the UCD Practice Education Team. The appointee will also contribute to teaching and module co-ordination for Physiotherapy Programmes offered by the school on-site in UCD.

Currently the School offers an undergraduate BSc Physiotherapy Programme and a Graduate Entry Professional Masters Programme, both of which are approved by CORU.

Postgraduate Physiotherapy programmes also include MSc by research, taught MSc, and Postgraduate diplomas in Physiotherapy.

Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor\2010 (0081\X) Salary Scale: €65,142 - €76,711per annum (pro-rata @ 0.5FTE) per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines

Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 27th June 2024.
