Our international rankings have been improving steadily, with three of our disciplines ranked in the QS top 100 (50th for statistics and operational research, 95th respectively for accounting & finance and marketing). A member of the UNPRM, our commitment to the UN SDGs was also recognised through the achievement of GRI accredited status. The school holds the CABS Small Business Charter award in recognition of SBS’ world-class support to students and local businesses, including the development of student entrepreneurial skills and the support for the development of wider economic and social opportunities for business. SBS hosts a vibrant Leaders and Entrepreneurs in Residence Network.

Our research underpins our enterprise and educational activities. With an extensive programme portfolio accredited by 14 professional bodies, we aim to develop future leaders who want to make a tangible impact on business and society. At the heart of the execution of our activities is our triple helix model whereby our research, education and enterprise activities are intertwined. Particularly, our integrated knowledge exchange and enterprise strategy enables us to reinforce our connections with both the wider university, and the communities we serve.
