Job Details

Applications are invited for a Temporary (12 month) post of a Clinical Research Data Manager within UCD School of Medicine.

The Centre for Experimental Pathogen Host Research (CEPHR), established in 2019 at the UCD School of Medicine under the directorship of Prof Patrick Mallon, is one of the few academic research centres in Europe, and the only centre of its kind in Ireland, that integrates host and pathogen research in a single centre. CEPHR is physically located in three principal UCD hubs: the Belfield Hub (located at UCD Campus, Dublin 4), the CEPHR SVUH (located in the Education & Research Centre at St Vincent's University Hospital) and the MMUH Hub (based at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital).

Clinical research is coordinated at the UCD Clinical research facilities located at the two main UCD teaching hospitals, the MMUH and SVUH, with significant infrastructural and human resources support from the UCD Clinical Research Centre (UCD CRC). The UCD CRC is an academic-led, patient-focused facility for clinical translational research which supports a large portfolio of investigator- and industry-led clinical research projects and is also a leader in the delivery of clinical research training. The UCD CRC is the focal point for engagement with industry (pharmaceutical companies, CROs, regulatory authorities) and has growing national and international collaborations.

CEPHR is currently seeking a full-time clinical data manager that will work within the UCD CRC. The successful candidate will support data management and research activities within the Infectious Diseases Clinical Trials Network research team.

Salary Range: €50,000 - €60,000 per annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on the 19th of June 2024.

Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified. Any applications which are still in progress at the closing time of 12:00 noon (Local Irish Time) on the specified closing date will be cancelled automatically by the system. UCD are unable to accept late applications.

UCD do not require assistance from Recruitment Agencies. Any CV's submitted by Recruitment Agencies will be returned.
