Applications are invited for a Fixed Term (5 years) post of a Marketing and Digital Officer within UCD University Relations Office.

The Marketing and Digital Officer will fulfil a crucial support role within the UCD University Relations Office, which is responsible for building the UCD brand and reputation through promoting UCD's excellence in research and innovation, teaching and learning and internationalisation / global engagement. Key activities carried out by the University Relations team include marketing to students, promoting expertise and building community.

A range of paid, owned and earned communications channels are used to ensure that UCD has an authoritative voice, delivers impact and is globally recognised.

Reporting to the UCD Head of Marketing, a Marketing and Digital Officer is required to coordinate the delivery of:

  • integrated multimedia brand and marketing campaign planning and production
  • impactful web landing pages and marketing content pages with best in class UX and strong, measurable calls to action for a range of target audiences
  • Lead on implementing a wide range of campaign and web monitoring tools not limited to Facebook pixels, Google Tag Manager, UTMs, among others.
  • Lead on measurement of web pages performance against intended user journeys, recommending and implementing changes and updates to maximise performance
  • Responsible for regular analysis of media campaign performance against web data to improve reach and engagement of both
