Duties and Responsibilities

  • manage research projects on nasopharyngeal carcinoma
  • publish original research articles in high-impact journals
  • secure external competitive grants, either working independently or with other team members
  • mentor research postgraduate students and post-doctoral fellows in the lab


  • a Ph.D. degree in Cancer Genetics or Immunology disciplines from a Top 30 university based on QS World University Rankings 2024
  • demonstrate an excellent capability and track record in oncology research, especially in the tumor immune microenvironment and immunotherapy
  • have substantial work experience in animal modeling and bioinformatics
  • have extensive post-doctoral training in the above fields preferentially in a world-renowned cancer institute

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
