Two posts are available.  Supporting either the School of Cancer Sciences (CS) or the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences & Medical Education (PPM).

You are invited to apply for the post of Administrator based at University Hospital Southampton.

These posts fall within the Faculty Operating Service (FOS), Faculty of Medicine.  The FOS is a professional service to the University led by the Associate Director of Faculty Operations (ADoFO's).  The service works with Faculty Deaneries and Senior Leadership Teams to support those areas of work which provide essential services to the Faculty core business and underpins the achievement of the strategic objectives of the University.

As an Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to senior academic staff within either Cancer Sciences (CS) or Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education (PPM) – two of five Schools within the Faculty of Medicine.

You will apply a good working understanding of administrative systems to answer queries and resolve a range of problems from colleagues and external customers.  You will be expected to assist the Senior Administrator and the Operations Manager with the delivery of School and Faculty tasks or projects where necessary.

These posts are offered on a Full Time and Permanent basis.
