Job Description
UIC now invites candidates for a part-time position expected to be filled in September 2024: candidates should be able to teach, first and foremost, a “Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship” course, plus possibly additional courses offered by the Department of Social Sciences.
Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD degree in related disciplines and relevant teaching experience. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake independent research leading to outcomes with a strong impact. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.
Appointment Terms
Appointments to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of one semester or one year. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
