Applications are invited for a Temporary post of Technical Project Manager within UCD IT Services.

UCD IT Services is responsible for the design, development, implementation, management and support of a wide range of IT solutions and services to support staff, students and researchers in their work for the University.

The expansion of UCD's IT security architecture includes the implementation of a new SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management) solution and the establishment of an IT Security Operations Centre (SOC) for the prevention, detection, response and recovery from cybersecurity threats and incidents.

The new UCD IT SOC will work closely with our IT security partner's managed service partner SOC, and will comprise a number of IT Security Lead resources from across multiple teams in IT Services managed by our IT Security Manager.

IT Services is recruiting a Technical Project Manager on a temporary basis for our SIEM/SOC Implementation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of the SIEM/SOC Implementation project - the integration of UCD's key data sources with our IT security partner's managed service SIEM solution and to manage the establishment of the new UCD IT SOC that will work in collaboration with the partner's managed service SOC.
