Assistant Professor of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Medicine MU
The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is an educational and research institution of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University. Provides teaching of study programs in non-medical fields.

We are looking for physiotherapists with a focus on the following areas:
- to work at the anesthesiology and resuscitation medicine clinic, work with critically ill patients, propaedeutics in rehabilitation, neurophysiology
- to work with neurological patients within the specialized outpatient clinics of the neurological department dealing with specific neurological disorders (multiple sclerosis and neuromuscular disease)
The workplace: Brno, the Czech Republic
The scope of your work will be:
- participation in theoretical and practical teaching at the workplace
- preparation of the study and teaching materials
- membership in commissions for state final examinations
- participation in the education of students in doctoral study programs
- independent research and development activities, including the publication and presentation of research results
- share in the organizational provision of research and pedagogical activities, incl. related administration
Required qualification:
- Completed university education in physiotherapy, or equivalent education attained abroad
- Completed education in a doctoral study program or specialized qualification according to Act No. 95/2004 Coll. (doctors, dentists and pharmacists), or Act No. 96/2004 Coll. (non-medical health professions)
- Physiotherapist with a focus on work at the clinic of anesthesiology and resuscitation medicine, work with critically ill patients and teaching activities in this field
- Physiotherapist focusing on work with neurological patients within the specialized outpatient departments of the neurological workplace dealing with specific neurological disorders (multiple sclerosis and neuromuscular disease) and teaching activities in this field
- Capability of independent professional and research work including publishing activities
- Capability to actively participate at an international conference or professional seminar
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Fluent Czech (spoken and written)
- Active approach, initiative and willingness for further education
- Moral integrity
