The newly created Deputy Vice-Chancellor External Engagement and Partnerships (EE&P) will provide oversight of the university’s broad external engagement agenda, cultivates a collaborative and supportive environment for external engagement at UTS to occur within a framework of mutual benefit for partners and the university. The work of the DVC will anchor UTS’s distinctive identity with our business and other partners and with our donors and alumni to provide a catalyst to deliver outcomes that support education and research priorities across our community.

Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and President, the DVC will oversee the portfolios of Business Creation and Major Facilities, Advancement, Marketing and Communication Unit, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Partnerships.

This senior role offers an unrivalled opportunity for an established leader (academic or professional) with a deep understanding and vision for partnership and impact.  With excellent influencing, collaboration and communication skills, candidates will bring experience in building and maintaining relationships across a complex range of internal and external stakeholders and, in doing so, inspire others to partner in the ambitions and aspirations of UTS.

Candidates should also exhibit a record of delivering substantial outcomes, including commercial achievement, in senior leadership encompassing the conceptualisation and delivery of concurrent, complex strategic priorities and projects, plus show the ability to think creatively, take initiative and exercise effective judgment in a dynamic environment.
