Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Director, College Office within UCD College of Social Sciences and Law.

The role of the Director is to provide strategic and operational support to the College of Social Sciences and Law. The Director will lead the College of Social Sciences and Law Office to support academic leadership and the schools on the core functions of the College. These include: programme delivery, teaching and learning, international and global engagement, research, innovation and impact, graduate studies and Equality Diversity and Inclusion. This will enable the delivery of an excellent academic administrative support service and optimum student experience in line with University strategy.

A core activity of the role is the application of in-depth knowledge and practitioner experience of programme delivery, particularly large programmes; working with academic leadership to ensure excellent organisational, development, administrative and promotional support for this critical college function. The role will also support the College, in conjunction with key collaborators, in the development and implementation of the College strategy.

The Director will initially be assigned to the College of Social Sciences and Law however can be assigned to support any College within the university.

95 Snr Administrative Iv\2013 (2010) (7078) Salary: €65,178 - €103,485 Per Annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
