Part-time Lecturer in Geography in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 526353)

We now invite applications for appointment as Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Geography within the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible for teaching two courses for the Master of Arts in China Development Studies (MAChDS) programme.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in geography, remote sensing, Geoinformatics or related discipline, with expertise in the context of China. Preference is given to those with teaching experience in tertiary institutions and/or post-qualification working experience in relevant professional or academic settings.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on a one-year temporary basis commencing from 1 September 2024 and another from 1 January 2025, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
