The essential criteria (a full list of which are available in the Position Description) include:

  • Completed a doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in Exercise Physiology or Exercise and Sport Science.
  • Demonstrated record of quality and impactful publication or non-traditional research outputs in high-quality outlets with research expertise in one or more of the following fields of expertise: Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning, Biomechanics, Sport and Exercise Psychology, Sport and Exercise Nutrition, or Motor Control and Learning / Skill Acquisition.

College of Engineering, Science and Environment

The School of Engineering is one of the most research-intensive Schools within the University contributing substantially to the overall research inputs and outputs of the College and University. This is reflected in the 2018 Excellence in Research in Australia outcomes where Electrical, Civil, Mechanical and Resource engineering FOR codes received an ERA5. In addition, it is rated well above the sector average for quality of overall experience for undergraduate engineering students and for median salaries with more than 90% of our engineering undergraduates finding employment within 4 months of completing their studies.
