The role

This is an exciting new role in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ Marketing and Recruitment Team, that manage the student recruitment cycle for the Faculty across four Schools.  

The Senior Marketing and Recruitment Officer will support delivery of the FLAS marketing strategy through campaign planning and implementation across the full marketing mix, at key touchpoints to increase applications and conversion. 

This role is expected to coordinate the implementation of tactical marketing projects across the breadth of student recruitment - including, but not limited to, web editing, social media management, content creation and marketing, digital marketing, CRM planning and implementation, market research, and event support.

They will work closely with the Faculty Marketing and Recruitment Manager and in partnership with other teams in the faculty and wider university to ensure successful marketing and support ways to improve efficiencies and effectiveness in output delivery.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with proven recent experience in a marketing role with experience of planning, executing and evaluating communications and campaigns aligned to our customers journey across different digital platforms, systems and technology (CMS, CRM, social media, virtual events).

You will have great people skills and know how to provide excellent customer service as well as being a supportive colleague and team player. The role requires a high level of flexibility, experience of anticipating problems and identifying potential solutions, and the ability to manage your own workload.

You should have strong organisation, project management to coordinate multiple streams of work simultaneously and be comfortable making decisions to meet objectives.

We’re looking for someone to contribute fresh ideas and creativity with excellent copywriting and visual skills across photography and film to deliver engaging content that suits our audiences.

You’ll have attention to detail and be able to analyse and evaluate data to make effective recommendations and provide reports.
