The Role

Research Assistant 1: We are seeking a Research Assistant who will support the College Connect Research Manager with the development of the College Connect research strategy, communicating research outputs, and supporting the embedding of the Community Needs Analysis (CNA) findings and recommendations across the MEND region. The College Connect Project aims to support access to higher education for communities underrepresented in higher education (including Travellers, people with disabilities, people in the asylum system, refugees, people with previous convictions) in the Midlands, East, North Dublin (MEND) region.

Research Assistant 2: We are seeking a Research Assistant who will provide an international evidence base to support the strategic development and setup of the National Centre of Excellence for Inclusive Higher Education at Maynooth University and provide a considered evidence base underpinning the strategic development and implementation of an effective Access structure and provision across the whole institution.


Research Assistant Level 1 (2024); €30,025 - €33,881 per annum pro rata (6 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
