Salary: Level B – $114,236 – $136,136 p.a. plus 17% super
- Coordinate, teach and deliver critical research project subjects to second and third year students undertaking the Doctor of Dental Surgery Students.

About the Role
As the Lecturer, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating, supervising and teaching second and third year students enrolled in ‘Dental Research Project A’ in the second and ‘Dental Research Project B’ in the third year of the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree but as required you may also teach across other MDS degree programs, graduate diplomas or certificates. You will report to the relevant Program Course Coordinator.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and contribute to a high standard of teaching to students undertaking a clinical degree program
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and seminars, and other learning and teaching duties, as required
- Active engagement in service, leadership and coordination roles in the discipline, School and Faculty demonstrating respectful, inclusive behaviors always and building trust amongst colleagues
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated Lecturer in Dental Research Education who strives to achieve teaching excellence. You will effectively demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills and can collaborate with diverse students and patients.
You will also have:
- A completed PhD in a relevant field
- Demonstrated teaching experience specifically with students undertaking tertiary dental education
- A proven record of success in ongoing extra-mural clinical practice and continuing professional development
