The Role 

In this role you will:

  • Deliver engaging lectures and seminars on various topics in applied economics to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of applied economics, contributing to the university's academic reputation.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the applied economics curriculum.
  • Integrate innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Play a role in shaping the direction of the applied economics program and the School's vision.
  • Establish and maintain industry and academic partnerships for collaborative research and student opportunities.

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Newcastle City Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).

How will we support you?

The remuneration for this position is Level B $108,382 – $128,705 or Level C $132,768 - $153,093 + 17% superannuation.

The School of Engineering is one of the most research-intensive Schools within the University.  The School consists of four discipline groupings:

  • Aerospace Systems, Electrical, Computer Systems
  • Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering
