We have an immediate and exciting opportunity to join the School of Engineering’s Faculty Operating Services team in the new role of Engineering Placements and Employability Officer, at a time of increased focus on embedding employability in the curriculum.

As Engineering Placements and Employability Officer, you will work closely to support academic colleagues on embedding employability into the curriculum as well as leveraging industry connections to increase placement and curriculum engagement. You will work alongside colleagues from the Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise service to ensure this local stakeholder engagement feeds into their student-facing activities. You will expand local internship initiatives across the School of Engineering, working closely with professional services to ensure they adhere to University policies and standards. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills and be able to establish credibility with academic colleagues across the university.
