Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Senior Executive Assistant within UCD Office of the Registrar and Deputy President.

This role is based in the office of the Registrar, Deputy President, and Vice-President for Academic Affairs, and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment at an exciting time as the Registrar and Deputy President will play a key role in shaping the academic vision of the next University strategy. The Registrar is the second most senior leader in UCD and a member of the University management team. In overseeing education and student experience, they have a wide remit and are supported in the management of their portfolio by three senior members of faculty, the Dean of Graduate Studies, the Dean of Students, and the Dean of Undergraduate Studies. The postholder will provide high quality administrative support to the Registrar and Deans covering committee support, diary management, co-ordination of correspondence, assistance on projects, management of events, and general office administration. The appointee will also be part of a small team taking shared responsibility for various tasks. They will play a key role by acting as a point of contact, liaising with staff, students, and external stakeholders. Given the range of activities supported by the office, the role will provide an interesting and stimulating work environment.

95 Senior Executive Assistant\2010 Salary: €43,173 - € 52,888 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
