The School of Pharmacy at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow.
The postholder will be an active member of the research team assisting in the development and pre-clinical and industrial translation of novel engineered microarray patch delivery systems. To assist in the planning and delivery of this research activity so that the overall research objectives of the project are met.
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must have a degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely-related discipline (Minimum standard 2.1).
- Have, or about to obtain, a PhD in engineering/drug delivery/pharmaceutics.
- Experience of design and manufacture of engineered drug delivery systems or medical devices.
- Significant recent and relevant research experience.
- A record of publication in high quality, peer-reviewed, journals commensurate with experience.

This post is fixed term for 12 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
