Applications are invited for a Temporary (3 year) or Permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Agricultural Economics and Food Business within UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science.

Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Agricultural Economics and Food Business in the Agribusiness and Rural Development Section in UCD's School of Agriculture and Food Science. Applicants must have a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Economics, Business or a related discipline.

We are specifically seeking applicants with expertise in quantitative methods (incl. statistics and econometrics), food marketing and consumer behaviour. They will be committed to further developing this expertise through academic research and engagement with industry partners, and to sharing this expertise through teaching undergraduate and graduate students. They will also be committed to developing their discipline in the School, University and wider community.

The successful applicant will coordinate and deliver a number of academic modules either in full or in partnership with other staff members. The Section delivers a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in Food and Agribusiness Management, Food Business Strategy, Food Business with Chinese Studies, Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development, Agricultural Extension and Innovation, and Humanitarian Action. The successful applicant will also conduct original research appropriate to the objectives of the Section, School and University

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary: € 60,261 - € 95,425.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
