Job Description

Candidates should be able to teach courses such as “Fundamentals of Database Systems” and “Web Publishing: The Science behind the Content on the Web” to students of the recently established “Digital Social Science” (DGS) major.

Job Requirements

Candidates should have a PhD degree in related disciplines and relevant teaching experience. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake independent research leading to outcomes with a strong impact. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments. Candidates should be able to manage the Content Management Systems (CMS), SEO, SQL, Relational Database Design, ER relational models, XML database model etc.

Appointment Terms

Appointments to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of one semester or one year. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
