Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Policy Engagement Project Manager within UCD Research

UCD is establishing a new policy engagement function, funded by the Higher Education Authority, to support our academic community to engage with local, national, and international policy makers. This new function, led by UCD Research will complement the university's existing expertise, experience in policy engagement and its existing relationships with policy makers and support UCD's vision as a research intensive university which supports and attracts world class research, enhances UCD's research reputation and builds confidence in UCD as a destination for quality research investment.

This is an exciting new role which will involve developing and implementing a range of activities to support and further embed policy engagement and policy impact across our strong academic departments and research groupings. Using specialist skills and knowledge, the post holder will support academics to broker strategic relationships with policy stakeholders through a range of policy engagement initiatives to support evidence informed policy making underpinned by international best practice. The post holder's development and training goals will be actively supported through on the job training, coaching and specific training programmes.

Salary Range: €60,000 to €66,000 per annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
