School of Humanities and Social Science invites applications and nominations for:

Open Rank Faculty Position in Information Technology (Ref. AC2023/024/01)

Associate Professor (Teaching)/Assistant Professor (Teaching)/Lecturer

The appointee is expected to teach and design Information Technology-related general education courses at first. After that, the appointee may be required to teach language and social science-related technology courses. The appointee is also expected to collaborate with other colleagues in teaching. The appointee is expected to commence work in AY2022-23.

Applicants should have:

  1. a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management or equivalent;
  2. proven record of teaching experience at tertiary level;
  3. strong interest in inter-disciplinary teaching;
  4. strong interest in curriculum design;
  5. experience in online teaching pedagogies is an added advantage;
  6. a good command of English.
