The Edinburgh Napier Business School is one of the largest modern Business Schools in Scotland and offers expertise, teaching and research across: Accounting & Finance, Business & Management, Law, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, and Festival & Events Management.

We are currently recruiting an Associate Professor in Business Analytics with experience of teaching one or more of the major areas of business analytics (particularly prescriptive modelling with optimisation techniques or predictive modelling with machine learning models) to deliver on undergraduate and postgraduate modules across our range of provisions, on-campus, online and TNE.

The Role:

The post will also provide you with the remit to influence the direction of our diverse and vibrant curriculum going forward and become involved in both module and programme leadership, providing contribution to our business and management portfolio. You will also have the opportunity to develop your academic leadership through line management and mentoring.

Similarly, you will be in an excellent position to use your knowledge and experience to take responsibility for developing, designing and delivering teaching and student-centred learning underpinned by academic scholarship and professional practice, within your assigned areas of responsibility.

The role will also provide you with the time to conduct individual and collaborative research projects, contributing to the research profile of the School. We envisage you will be aligned to one of our research centres or research groups, such as Napier Applied Business Research for Society (NABRS).

Should you also have related industry experience and/or professional body engagement, we would be particularly interested in speaking with you.
