About the Role

You will take a leadership role in the development of innovative teaching practices across the School. You will engage in scholarly and research activity that enhances your teaching and contributes to your broader discipline. Additionally, you will guide the career development of early-career colleagues and play an important role in research, scholarship, and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Teaching coordination, delivery, and innovation 
  • Engaging in scholarly activities and research 
  • Providing leadership and service within the institution 
  • Ensuring compliance and professional development 

Who We Are Looking For

You bring demonstrated excellence and innovation in teaching, curriculum design, and postgraduate supervision, with a strong emphasis on creating inclusive learning environments. You have an established record of impactful pedagogical and academic research that informs teaching practice, an outstanding history of mentoring early-career academics in teaching leadership, and experience in leadership and strategic planning.  

You will also have: 

  • A completed PhD in any of the disciplines of the School  
  • A strong history of pedagogical innovation and academic research, with a track record of previous publications, grants, and public engagement  
  • Clear ability to foster inclusive learning environments and provide meaningful mentorship to scholars and students 
  • Demonstrated service and leadership within national and international networks, showing ongoing contribution to scholarly communities
