Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Experiential Learning (Ref: SGE221003)

Job Description

School of General Education (SGE) is seeking candidates with teaching expertise and key research strength in the following subject areas:

  1. Experiential Learning;
  2. Service Learning.

Successful candidate should also be qualified to teach theoretical courses in Experiential Learning, and responsible for developing and coordinating the experiential learning curriculum offered in SGE and the college.

Job Requirement

Candidates should have a PhD degree in a related discipline. Relevant working experience is highly valued. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable ability to undertake research leading to outcomes with srong impact, including publications in high quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals and scholorly presses. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave and social insurance. 

Appointment Terms

Appointments to these positions will initially be made on a fixed-term contract with mutual agreement.
