(Level B) $107,276 to $126,894 or (Level C) $130,810 to $150,431 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

This is a full-time continuing position, commencing in January 2024.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in either a Teaching and Research (balanced) or Teaching Focussed role in the area of Physiotherapy to join the School of Allied Health Science and Practice within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. This is a unique opportunity to influence and guide the development of the next generation of physiotherapists.

The position can be either a balanced teaching and research role, or a teaching focussed role. Please indicate your preference in your covering letter.

The successful candidate will bring their skill, creativity and experience in developing and delivering education materials for the Physiotherapy Program and will play a pivotal role in teaching and research/scholarship at The University of Adelaide. The Senior Lecturer will contribute to the leadership and operational delivery of the Physiotherapy program and broader activities within the School of Allied Health Science and Practice and Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

To be successful as a Senior Lecturer (Level C), applicants will need:

Be registered, or eligible for Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA.

Be registered, or eligible for Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA.

A PhD in the relevant discipline, and a Bachelor or Masters qualifying degree in Physiotherapy, and clinical and/or research experience.

A PhD (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline, and a Bachelor or Masters qualifying degree in Physiotherapy, and considerable teaching experience.

Experience in curriculum development, coordination and delivery as this relates to Physiotherapy or broader allied health programs.

Demonstrated ability to lead others in the delivery of high-quality course design, and in the delivery of high-quality student-centred teaching at an undergraduate level that includes the capacity to incorporate new technologies and new approaches to teaching and learning.

Demonstrated ability to lead others in the delivery of high-quality course design, and in the delivery of high-quality student-centred teaching at an undergraduate level that includes the capacity to incorporate new technologies and new approaches to teaching and learning.

Supervision of honours or postgraduate research projects and experience in liaising and promoting research links with external bodies.

Demonstrated ability to lead and build effective relationships and partnerships in an academic setting.

Experience in curriculum development and delivery as this relates to physiotherapy or broader allied health programs.

Demonstrated ability to incorporate contemporary approaches to teaching and learning into course delivery, including through using new technologies to support educational outcomes.

Ability to implement successful research projects or activities, and experience with developing relationships and partnerships that foster successful research activities.
