Job Description
The mission of the Cancer Science Institute (National University of Singapore) is to better understand the causes of human cancer across Asia, and thereby improve its detection, treatment, and prevention. A Senior Research Fellow position is available immediately at Prof Marco Foiani's laboratory. Experienced scientist interested in Cancer Biology, Mechano-signaling, Genome architecture, and DNA topology. The candidate will be expected to design and conduct a range of molecular / cell biology experiments, engage in and drive multidisciplinary collaborative work, analyze data, write papers/ grants, and supervise students.

Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- PhD degree in molecular biology, cancer biology, medicine, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or related fields
- Background knowledge of the field of cancer biology, as well as current and emerging paradigms in immunotherapy
- Expertise in Genome stability, Mechanism of DNA replication/repair, DNA topology and experience in mechanobiology
- Expertise in biostatistics and analysis of high-content data
- Knowledge and proficiency of basic molecular and cellular biology techniques such as cloning, cell culture, real-time PCR, western blotting, lentiviral transduction, and immunofluorescence
- Able to communicate in written and spoken English
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task
- Design and interpret experiments
- Work independently with minimum supervision
