Lecturer, Architecture (Teaching Academic Level A/B)

• Based in UniSA Creative at the City West campus
• Full-time, two-year fixed term contract
• Salary: $96,929 - $128,877 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

This position is responsible for contributing to the teaching, scholarship and professional activities of the Creative Academic Unit. The Lecturer utilises contemporary professional/ discipline-related knowledge in their teaching practice and carries out activities to develop scholarly expertise.

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Demonstrated ability to undertake teaching duties including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources
• High level written and oral communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members, external parties, colleagues and students
• Demonstrated competence in using the necessary digital techniques required for effective curriculum delivery

ACADEMIC LEVEL A

• Post-graduate qualification in relevant discipline, and/or professional/industry experience in the field of Architecture 
• Demonstrated ability to actively engage and educate a student group

ACADEMIC LEVEL B

• A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional/industry experience
• Understanding and experience in using a range of contemporary teaching methodologies
