Associate Lecturer, Adelaide Nursing School

(Level A) $75,888 to $102,040 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Continuing full time position available from January 2024.

A unique opportunity exists to join one of the top 4 nursing schools in Australia and the number 1 nursing school in South Australia for Overall Experience (Undergraduate) *(2023/24 Good Universities Guide). In this position, you will play a significant role contributing to undergraduate nursing student supervision and student development. You will also contribute to undergraduate teaching and university service as expected of a Level A academic.

The Adelaide Nursing School are seeking an innovative teaching focussed academic staff member, passionate about preparing the next generation of health care professionals. We encourage applications from individuals with experience in student placement supervision and candidates with recent clinical experience are especially encouraged to apply.

To be successful you will need: 

• Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated interest in the conduct of tutorials, practical classes and clinical sessions.
• Strong teaching interests with demonstrated ability for cross-disciplinary teaching and collaboration.
• Demonstrated expertise and the ability to deliver evidence-based practice in a relevant discipline area.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively consult, mentor or supervise students.
