About the Role
The Lecturer is responsible for the development, delivery, and coordination of Animation courses within UniSA Creative's undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and for contributing to the Academic Unit’s research agenda.
The position will support and contribute independently and as part of a team to support the teaching and research outcomes, and to carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly research and/or professional activities.
The Senior Lecturer will make original and innovative contributions to the discipline, will provide leadership within the Academic Unit, and will be responsible for attracting competitive research and/or industry funding.

Essential Skills and Experience
- PhD qualification together with associated experience in research and teaching in the field of Animation
- Demonstrated success in building relationships with industry and/or community for the benefit of teaching and research
Level B
- Demonstrated high-quality teaching outcomes with evidence of a strong commitment to continuous improvement of teaching practice and learning outcomes, in on-campus and online settings
- Demonstrated commitment to establishing a program of research that evidences a growing publication record, and experience in the preparation of research grant applications and success in attracting research income commensurate with opportunity in the discipline
- Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal ability, written and oral communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a diverse team
Level C
- Demonstrated establishment of a program of research that enhances the research profile of an institution by conducting research or scholarly activity, independently or as a member of a team, which results in securing competitive funding, publications in refereed journals, and/or high-quality creative research outputs
- Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and a commitment to the theory and practice of Animation
- High-level written and verbal communication skills demonstrated by the development of course materials and educational publications, and delivery of presentations at seminars/conferences
