We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, committed, and experienced professional to join a small and highly successful team to deliver our Secondary Initial Teacher Education programmes.  Teaching will focus on preparing trainees to teach their specialist subject within the secondary curriculum as well as contributing to teaching wider professional studies.

The ability to travel to and liaise with colleagues in schools across the region is an essential requirement of the post in order to support the trainees during their school-based training, support school-based mentors to enhance consistency of provision; share expertise and continue to develop a community of practice in the subject across our ITE partnership.  You will also support the academic progress of the trainees leading to a PGCE qualification.

You will be an experienced teacher engaged in ongoing relevant practice with a passion for and commitment to the development of the next generation of teachers.  You will be able to model outstanding practice and use your experience to inform and inspire trainees to become excellent practitioners.

We provide an exciting, stimulating place to learn and work. Our standards of academic achievement are high, our environment is inspiring, and we embrace innovation in all that we do.  With exceptional opportunities for staff development, our students are not the only ones who thrive here.

This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
