Applications are invited for appointment as Half-time Assistant Lecturer (with the functional title as Educational Psychologist II) in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 522986) to commence on November 1, 2023 or as soon as possible for 10 months.
Applicants should have a first degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice) from a local university or equivalent. Relevant post-degree experience as Educational Psychologist is desirable. Applicants should also have a high proficiency in English and Chinese.
The appointee will work on a project on the development of a comprehensive assessment system for identifying and supporting children with mathematics learning difficulties. Duties will include conducting psycho-educational assessment for children who are at risk of having learning difficulties, providing consultation and support services to school, developing mobile learning applications for children with mathematical learning difficulties, as well as other duties related to the project.
