About the opportunity
The Director, Griffith Film School is a key leadership position and is responsible for achieving the School’s vision by providing strategic and operational leadership and management. As Director, you will continue to drive high quality standards across teaching, research and strategic engagement with industry. The Director, working closely with the School’s Executive team, staff and other School leaders, will champion a culture of collaboration and innovation, leading to interdisciplinary opportunities in research and learning. Supporting and developing staff and leveraging opportunities for program growth through excellent relationships with stakeholders will be important.
About you
This is a significant role requiring demonstrated contemporary leadership ability, and strong credibility in a relevant field of academic endeavour and/or practice. Highly developed communication, resource management and organisational skills should be complemented by a demonstrated ability to engage effectively across the University and externally. A doctoral qualification in a relevant field is welcome and proven leadership experience is essential.
The position is based at the South Bank Campus and an attractive salary package is negotiable.
