The University has an ambitious strategic plan for growth and anticipates continued strong performance in future recruitment cycles. The Marketing & External Relations Directorate is recruiting new positions, including a new fixed term Student Recruitment Events Assistant to ensure service delivery levels.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early career professional to gain experience of large-scale student recruitment and conversion events (including Open Days, Applicant Days, virtual events, and fairs).

The primary focus of the post is to support the delivery of student recruitment and conversion events to ensure a positive high-quality experience for event attendees driving student applications and applicant conversion to the University. The post holder is responsible for following event work plans and project plans to complete the logistical and administrative elements of the setup, running, and set down, of Student Recruitment events.

In additional to handling logistics and administration, you will receive training on digital event platforms and CRM systems to set up and coordinate event bookings and communications to increase event conversion and support virtual event delivery.

This varied role requires a background knowledge of events management and/or student recruitment, and interest in working in this professional area. The successful candidate will be experienced in providing excellent customer service, and able to manage their own workload with minimal supervision to meet internal and external deadlines

The post holder will be required to work open days and other student recruitment events, working flexibly including evenings and occasional weekends. The role is based at our Avery Hill Campus in Eltham, although on-the-day events support may be required at our Greenwich and Medway campuses.
